Manufacturing To Tight Tolerance.

Tight tolerance simply put is a variance of plus or minus .002 inches and at a very tight tolerance .001 inches. It is very important that parts and products are manufactured to tight tolerance to insure they will fit, will perform as they are meant to and will not fail.

The initial stage of tight tolerance is at the design phase. It's imperative to manufacture parts and products that meet the required level of tight tolerance to total customer satisfaction and the highest standards of quality that the design is done right.

Things that can have an influence on the tolerance is the intricacy of the parts being manufactured and it's size. For this reason it is critical that the designers of the parts or products and the manufacturer are in sync come up with the best possible design for manufacturing.
